I’d wager that a lot of people in my local comedy racket would think they’d need a Mac or Windows laptop to play such a critical part in a show like this. They’d be wrong.
It would be tempting to position Mint as Linux for Windows users and Ubuntu for those used to Mac OS X, but such an idea does Linux Mint a great disservice. Ditto for OS X.
I honestly didn’t even know I had it until a botched Ubuntu upgrade yielded that screen you see above.
It’s a fairly sad state of affairs that I would even consider recommending this for citizens of the country that calls itself the True North, strong and free.
