I’d wager that a lot of people in my local comedy racket would think they’d need a Mac or Windows laptop to play such a critical part in a show like this. They’d be wrong.

I’m really at a loss as to why NFC-enabled handsets are so few and far between here in the west.
There’s nothing wrong with a bit of showmanship, but it’s also nice to let the products speak for themselves now and again.
I was barely off the plane when I procured a local SIM card; here’s everything else I saw pertaining to mobile phones in Nairobi and beyond.
