Out of office, getting a Russian Visa.

Sorry, no post today… My presence is required at the Russian Consulate to hand in paperwork for a Russian Tourist Visa — I’m planning to visit Moscow for a big holiday there in May.

Unfortunately their office is only open on weekday mornings during my prime blogging hours. But I’m hoping it will pay off when I get there and file some exclusive reports from the land of the super-l33t hax0rz. They teach Linux in schools there, you know. 😎

I’ll be back tomorrow with a proper post. Thanks, comrade!

  1. G’day and long time no see Andrew! How are you?

So, you are returning to “Mother Russia”, my old friend from Northern? Ohhhh, impressive!

The struggle there seems to be just as much based on ‘the Party’ and the legacy of “Stalinism” as before (I’m a newshound by temperament and want of something to do here in my basement). Do they celebrate Easter?

The May Day parade of Workers will be something to see!

I’m in the market for one of those dohickey thing-a-migs you keep flogging in your blogs, the Apple ipod, I think? Didn’t know you were such a knowledgeable salesman! Any advice?

Your birthday is just around the corner, April 19 or 21, right? Any big plans for celebrating it!?@#&*!

    Ciao!
    Rolf

Sure. If you think you’ve a right to own the devices you buy, don’t buy one.
