If you live in the GTA and have any kind of interest in creating online content, you may be a candidate for PodCamp Toronto. It starts tomorrow on the Ryerson University campus and registration closes today.
My first BarCamp experience was last summer at MobileCamp, a series of Nokia-sponsored meetups in four cities across The United States. The idea behind these “unconferences” is fairy revolutionary — attendees walk into a meeting room and are greeted with a blank agenda; anyone can fill in a time slot on any subject and away it goes.
PodCamp is being a little differently in that speakers have been asked to submit their sessions in advance. The schedule is now live.
This will be an especially interesting event for yours truly as I’ll be meeting fellow DyscultureD host Anthony Marco face to face for the very first time. I’ll be recording this momentous occasion on Qik and providing other PodCamp updates on Twitter for as long as the battery on my netbook and new phone will let me.
Hope to see you there!
